General Information on Policies

  • VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted.
  • Holidays and special event times require minimum 2 day stay.
  • Each additional person(s) add $10 per person, including children and infants.
  • We offer a 10% military discount, only one discount is offered per reservation, per room. Upon arrival, you will need to show your appropriate ID to receive discount.
  • Check-In Time is 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Early check-in can only be accommodated with advance notice and is dependent on availability. Please call the office (608) 687-3111 on the day of arrival to inform us if you are scheduled to arrive after 10 p.m., to make arrangements for after-hours arrival.
  • Check-Out Time is 10 a.m. You may check out any time prior to 10 a.m. A late check-out can only be accommodated with consent from the innkeeper based on availability that day. Late check-out without innkeepers’ consent with result in additional charges of $25 per half hour past standard check-out time, as we require that time to prepare the room for our next guest’s arrival.
  • Quiet Time begins at 10 p.m. and lasts until 8 a.m., in respect for other guests and property owners. We also are careful to maintain a quiet and peaceful atmosphere for ALL our guests. Parents are responsible for their children while staying here at the motel. Management reserves the right to address noise issues at any time and police will be called if needed. All unregistered guests must leave by 9 p.m.
  • Sorry, we regret pets are not permitted on the property. Please notify management if you are traveling with a service animal.
  • Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside or near the entrances of the motel. Violators will be charged $150 – $1500 for us to clean and restore the room to its original condition, including the necessary days that the room is out of commission for its restoration.
  • If you have requested a specific room, we will try our best to meet your request. However, we reserve the right to move your party to a different room (prior to your arrival) in order to efficiently book our property.
  • Gift Certificates are available. They make the perfect Vacation Getaway gift!

As a small, family-owned establishment, every reservation is important to us, and last-minute changes or cancellations can significantly impact our business operations. Therefore, we have implemented the following reservation and cancellation policy to ensure fairness and transparency for all parties involved.

Reservation Policy

When you reserve a room at the Fountain Motel, you agree to pay in full upfront for the cost of your stay. By doing so, you enable us to turn away other potential guests and dedicate that room exclusively to you. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy, which allows us to maintain our high standards of service and hospitality.

Guests are responsible for payment of all night(s) reserved regardless of their actual arrival or departure date. Guests who need to depart prior to their reservation end date will be expected to honor their reservation commitment. No-shows are also responsible for full payment of their entire reservation.

Cancellation Policy

Due to the intimate nature of our property and the limited number of rooms available, we enforce a strict cancellation policy. Please review the details below carefully:

  • Cancellations Made 1 Week Prior to Arrival: If you need to cancel your reservation at least 1 week prior to your scheduled arrival date, we will refund 50% of the total cost of your stay.
  • Cancellations Made Less Than 1 Week Prior to Arrival: Cancellations made within 1 week of your scheduled arrival date will result in the forfeiture of the entire cost of your stay.

Please note that there are no exceptions to this policy.

IMPORTANT

By signing, I confirm that I understand and accept financial responsibility for any damages to the guest room, its furniture, or grounds, as well as for extra cleaning, rekeying due to lost keys, or violations of rules (such as smoking or bringing pets). I authorize my credit card to be charged for these costs, including repairs, replacements, or cleaning fees. I agree to all terms of this policy and certify that the information I provide is accurate.

Service Animal Policy

The Fountain Motel is committed to making reasonable modifications to its policies, practices, and procedures to permit the use of service animals by its customers and guests with disabilities. Service animals play an important role in ensuring the independence of people with disabilities and it is therefore our policy to welcome into The Fountain Motel any animal that is individually trained to assist a person with a disability.
