First time staying here... nothing but exquisite! Extremely comfortable rooms, quiet area (despite the occasional trains), awesome Owners were fantastic to converse with, and the local area has so much history and natural sites to visit. Chris (owner) was exceptional at making sure we were comfortable during our stay! Will, definitely stay again, just for a weekend getaway!!

We love staying here. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. There are light poles where we can plug the boat in. The owners are so friendly. They have a fish vleaning station out back so you can clean your daily catch.

Owner Christina (and her mom) were awesome! Very friendly, welcoming, and helpful to recommend restaurants & sights for our motorcycle trip. The entire property is meticulously maintained & very clean inside & out. Quaintly decorated, nicely appointed & homey.

Our stay was for my birthday and it did not disappoint. We stayed in the old glory room and it was beautiful. We were able to sit outside in the evening and watch the sunset. It was gorgeous friendly people that stayed there as well.

I guess you could call my wife and I regulars at the Fountain Motel as we have stayed there multiple times, the most recent being over this past July 4th weekend. Kris hits it out of the park with the motel and the accommodations! Rooms are immaculate and the service is top notch! Highly recommend!!

This place is way cool! Obvious that they pay attention to every little detail. Guessing it was renovated fairly recently? Rooms are nice, clean, and air conditioner and refrigerator are both cold; has a microwave and coffee maker. Very relaxing, and enjoyable. I don’t get up this way much, but if I ever do again, and need a place to stay, this is the spot. Highly recommended!!!

I recently stayed here for 3 nights for the first time for a little fishing trip. The first thing a notice was how nice the grounds were kept. The room was very clean and comfortable. Kris checked me in and was was very attentive. She will even reduce your rate if you fish with Chis Ecker of Mississippi Backwater Adventures. The fishing and the stay were awesome! Nice place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Easy to find easy to park, just all around good. Good restaurants close by too.

From my initial contact with Chris the owner, we knew we found a great place. When we pulled in the property was beautifully maintained. Chris was welcoming and so sweet. The rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely renovated. We enjoyed sitting outside on the comfy clean chairs after a long day of riding. Thank you Chris! We’ll definitely be back!!

My husband had tried to reserve a room at the beginning of the month for the Dairyland show down at Mississippi Thunder Speedway. Chris told him the rooms were sold out but if there was a cancelation she would call him. We live in Houston, TX so if we had a chance to make it we needed to leave Wednesday. She called him Wednesday morning 6:30AM they had a cancelation. We told her yes we would be there. We made the 1250 mile drive and got there Thursday afternoon. When I walked in the office she had everything ready for our check in. It was very clean and cozy. We will Definitely be staying here again.

We had a great time!! Some family booked the Vineyard and had a relaxing evening, my sister and I stayed in the Jungle and had a fun time. Lots of laughing, giggles and snorts enjoying the jungle decor. It was like having live hyenas in the room!

Anytime we come to Fountain City this is our favorite place to stay. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the bathroom has top quality shampoo, conditioner, soap and make up remover. I would say that the owner buys local and supports her community. The rooms are immaculate. I have never been to an upscale hotel that even comes close to the cleanliness of these rooms. I highly recommend I love this place!!

We have often enjoyed the hospitality and accommodations at the Fountain Motel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The owners are pleasant and helpful. Location is easily accessible on the main road.

Excellent spot, reasonable pricing, friendly service, and clean.

This is a really nice roadside motel. I thought it was right on the Mississippi River, it's not, but it is very close. This motel was clean, well maintained, the owner was very nice, the showers had good pressure and the beds were comfy. There are some great restaurants right in town and the drive is absolutely beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.
